Description Dieter Schütze 2021-12-11 10:48:34 CET
Description of problem:
libvirtd running but no guests are running.
The update of libvirt-utils hangs even after waiting 10 minutes.
After the update has been interrupted and restarted, there are no more systemd start files for libvirt under /usr/lib/systemd/system
I solved it by installing --replacepkgs over it. But it also gets stuck there because the update tries to stops or pauses the guests who are not running at all. A repeated interruption brought the desired success without deleting the systemd startup files.

If you have running guests all works fine.

Assigning to Thierry who does libvirt updates, and may understand what is going on.
