I installed cauldron in a virtual machine to test some packages
Knowing that the spec file of Guayadeque hasn't been modified I supposed there will be some problems with the last version of wxgtk....

Indeed Guayadeque crashes immediately

I rebuilt Guayadeque inside mock for Cauldron x86_64 with a git clone from 2021 december 01

It works (despite lots of warnings in the console...)

I will attach :
1) the console message for the crash of guayadeque 0.4.6-7.git20201222.2.mga9 inside cauldron
2) the modified spec file for guayadeque 0.4.6-7.git20211201.1.mga9
(it works despite the warnings in the console)
3) the console messages for this new version
4) the debug xml file created by guayadeque (I will send it upstream)
3) the console message

I will send this last debug file upstream (anonbeat had already modified the code for wxgtk 3.1.4 for Mageia 8... there seems to be some others for the final release of wxgtk 3.1.5 used in Cauldron)

Simple rebuild is enough for cauldron. I might update to the latest git snapshot later, though.

Closing as FIXED with guayadeque-0.4.6-7.git20201222.3.mga9.

I will test the simple rebuild ...
Maybe it will not induce the same warnings.

Nevertheless I'm waiting for upstream improvements to build upon wxgtk 3.1.5 :
Juan Rios (aka anonbeat) is aware of this issue with his last code, and fast responsive.
As soon as he'll have modified the code I will test it and will warn you

Just saw that you rebuilt with the last git clone... my previous comment is outdated because I can't test the simple rebuild !

Nevertheless the issue that I reported upstream is always useful and I'm waiting for upstream improvements of the code ...
As soon as I'm aware of the modifications I will test and warn you
