Something odd here - when using qarepo lately there are always errors such as this: fetching rsync://mirrors.kernel.org/mirrors/mageia/distrib/8/x86_64/media/core/updates_testing/media_info/pubkey rsync: [Receiver] safe_read failed to read 1 bytes: Connection reset by peer (104) rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(274) [Receiver=3.2.2] ERROR: failed to download rsync://mirrors.kernel.org/mirrors/mageia/distrib/8/x86_64/media/core/updates_testing/media_info/pubkey. ERROR: failed to download all the files. Ignoring this for the time being. Quad Core Intel Core i7-4790 Kernel: 5.10.70-1.mga8 x86_64 NVIDIA GM204 [GeForce GTX 970] Question: Why does the rebuild of initrd always come up with :- "Creating: target|kernel|dracut args|basicmodules remove-boot-splash: Format of /boot/initrd-5.10.70-1.mga8.img not recognized" nvidia-current module rebuilt during installation. Smooth reboot to Mate desktop, restored as it was. NFS shares mounted. Everything working as it should. CC:
