It should first be upgraded in Cauldron.

After that, a backport request can be made for Mageia 8, I doubt that our updates policy allows to package it as regular update, because it contains new features.

I started 2 bugs for adding two libs. Without them, mixxx does not fully work. I made builds of version 2.3.1 in two distributions.

In reference to Nikolay Sabelnikov in comment 10, in the meantime you can test the 2.3.2 version installing from the link that I have indicated in comment 4. There, You can see the two versions, 2.3.1. and 2.3.2 rpms.

And then, you can report here, how you see the two versions, and how they work for you.

MGA8-64 MATE on Acer Aspire 5253
No installation issues.
Launched mixxx, added a folder as library and assigned 2 wav files to resp. Deck1 and Deck2.
Having no further options for output than what this laptop provides, I got sound from the decks by manipulating the preferences, but not the two together. Tried to follow the tutorial in https://manual.mixxx.org/2.3/en/chapters/user_interface.html, but that's way over my head.
In all, I do not see any blocking problem, the interface displays OK.

Giving the OK, unless someone has more background into this matter.
