Description Nicolas Vigier 2011-10-04 19:55:05 CEST
Youri check is currently run on cauldron. I think it would be useful to run it also on Mageia 1, with the updates and updates_testing repositories (and later backports), for the dependencies check.

It can be useful to check that the new updates do not break dependencies.

For instance, when libxulrunner is updated, the old version should be obsoleted and a lot of packages need to be rebuilt. Having youri check on updates_testing repository would help to find the list of packages that need to be rebuilt.

I don't think it will help, as long as the previous version is still available no dependency will be broken.
