Confirmed. I downloaded and unpacked ksh-2020.0.0.338.git8d91e8a-0.2.mga8.src.rpm In ast-8d91e8a2009ff9196454fea1362627fd1f921196/src/cmd/ksh93/ksh.1 it has the "⎪" xE28EAA character rather then the correct "|" x7C character, so it's not a translation error. Description of problem: The man page for ksh consistantly uses the Unicode ⎪ rather than the ascii | for the pipe, or "or" symbol, when it actually means the latter. That is the hex "E2 8E AA" rather than "7C". The former does not work >ksh $ echo "a" ⎪cat a ⎪cat
