Description of problem:
If you close boinc_gui by typing on the cross on the upper side it only minimize itself. You can close it only at the trayicon. You can see it on the taskbar furthermore and it (the GUI not the client) wastes resources.

That's the way it's intended to work.

If you don't start the boinc client manually, that it will be started automatically
when you start boinc gui.  Like other packages intended to be run in the background,
such as ktorrent, clicking on the x to close the dialog only minimizes it to the
system tray, rather then actually closing it.

If you do want it to quit, you have to use file/exit, which will warn you that
the client will be closed too.
