Mga8-64 updated cleanly, rebooted and all seem well.
That said, this system is running nvidia-current (need CUDA)
Using all testing updates incl lib64x11* and kernel.

This is updated OK.

MGA8-64-OK for me.
System is smooth, nvidia-current in use. Plasma graphics/transparency/3D effects are OK.
Games OK.

After a reboot, ran Hexchat, watched a few minutes of a video, visited a couple of sites with Firefox. Using it to make this report. Everything looks OK on this hardware.

Just to add to this...

Dell Dimension e520, Core2Quad, AMD HD 8570 graphics, rtl8192cu wifi, 32-bit and 64-bit Plasma systems.

Updated each system in turn, no installation issues. Ran glmark2 on each, successfully, giving a final "score" comparable with others I've done on this hardware.

Good to go with the amdgpu driver, too.

An update for this issue has been pushed to the Mageia Updates repository.
