It is always better to attach screenshots etc to a bug rather than store them elsewhere, because they are generally short-lived there. Also, in this case, you could more simply have just selected/pasted the terminal output illustrated directly into the bug. Never mind. Thank you for the report. Unsure where to assign this, or which pkg is the guilty party; so doing so globally. Summary:

On the French forum, similar cases are users, using netapplet. Those using Network Manager do not appear to be affected. I allow myself to put a line of thought, on which we discuss. The translation gives this: "The connection of a usb peripheral (a telephone for example) which would have acted as network card? en: ethernet device p0: port 0 s20: slot 20 But after: u: for usb c: configuration 4 i: interface 2 I doubt that the configuration is saved automatically. In fact it would be necessary that in netapplet / drakconnect, as soon as there is a "u" in the name there is the possibility of letting the system know that it is about of a temporary interface which must be deleted when shutting down the system! " Thanks ! Hello, With another Mageia user, owning an Apple device, and after mounting the device, the file is also created in : /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ However, it uses network manager. In his system logs, the error: Failed to start LSB: Bring up/down networking is absent. The problem seems to come from using NetApplet/Drakconnect. Is it possible to assign this bug to the maintainers of this tool?
