Description Cyril Levet 2021-03-07 19:00:11 CET
Description of problem: Auto playing audio CD does not work in gnome even if it is set in parameters. For example, in order to read a CD with Rhythmbox you need to mount it first via nautilus. The following error message is displayed in the journal :
gnome-shell[2633]: Unable to mount volume Disque audio: Gio.IOErrorEnum: le volume n’implémente pas le montage

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-shell-3.38.3-2

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set up the auto-mouning of a CD in gnome parameters
2. Insert an audio CD
3. Nothing happened and the error is displayed in the journal

Hi, thanks for reporting this.

Reproduced.

In Gnome Preferences, Removable Devices, Audio CD is set to "Ask".
Even if I set it to "rhythmbox", rhythmbox can't auto read it.

In system journal, each time an Audio CD is loaded:

gnome-shell[2458]: Unable to mount volume audio disk: Gio.IOErrorEnum: volume does not implement mount.

Assigning to GNOME Stack maintainer.
First, this against Cauldron as same version here, and MGA8TOO.

Mageia 7 is not affected.
