qa-bugs @Mark: you can test java 16 I love the speed here! When this is confirmed working, i think we shall add to Release notes that java 16 is available in backports. (same goes for Nextcloud BTW) CC:

Backports After installation /etc/alternatives/java was not updated - or is it intended when java11 is already installed to keep the old version here? Uninstall of java11 causes uninstall of eclipse-swt and libreoffice* If java11 is still needed, I'm fully ok with it, but maybe this shows there is a dependancy which can be resolved. yes need to keep java11 ( needed by lo, etc). i don't remember the command right now but you can modify update-alternatives yourself. update-alternatives --display java can tell you what is configured (In reply to Morgan Leijström from comment #6) > I love the speed here! > > When this is confirmed working, i think we shall add to Release notes that > java 16 is available in backports. > > (same goes for Nextcloud BTW) It should because this is OK. MGA8-64-OK java 16 usable from backports Keywords:
