Another thing for ERRATA? @Christian I question the high priority given to this bug. Plasma Wayland itself is still something of an adventure. This is not to excuse that MCC does not launch under Plasma Wayland, clearly it should. But in the meantime, the trick above works. Can you please post the output of launching MCC (on Plasma/Wayland) from a console ? [I would if LightDM offered it...] Priority:

Morgan escalated it to high priority. I gave Wayland a try, because I experienced some serious screen flickering and glitches in X11, only with Plasma.
