Cannot confirm. Copied Mageia-8-rc-i586.iso to a usb stick using isodumper, which reads the iso back from the stick to verify it after copying. During partitioning, labeled / and /boot, formatted and mounted both ... # blkid /dev/sdd* /dev/sdd: PTUUID="aa9f4e64" PTTYPE="dos" /dev/sdd1: LABEL="i8dboot" UUID="564bb8c4-f761-4623-87e0-a75c901f4dc5" TYPE="ext4" PARTUUID="aa9f4e64-01" /dev/sdd2: LABEL="i8d" UUID="fdac9dd3-867b-4ee3-928e-7d2bc13be283" TYPE="ext4" PARTUUID="aa9f4e64-02" Plasma install (without online repos enabled) went smoothly. After install, rebooted into that installation ok. CC:
