I have noted both Plasma Discover and Gnome-software SRPMs. Is it really due to them, or Flatpak (flatpak-1.10.1-1.mga8.src.rpm) ? If it is the first two, we need a bug for each since they go to different developer groups.

I dont know who to ask about that.

Fair enough. Let's ask the Plasma people first. I will leave myself CC'd initially in case it gets bounced to Flatpack.

It's still the case. In gnome software 45.2, packages installed via rpm can be updated, but if not installed yet, the choice to install from flathub is selected by default, and often the rpm option is not presented at all.
