Attachments: Output of konsole ejecuting urpmi --auto-update

Description Jose Manuel López 2021-01-22 09:20:38 CET
Description of problem: Mageia applet don't show updates, but if I ejecute "urpmi --auto-update" in konsole, appears updates.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 8 and mga-applet

How reproducible: Click in "search updates" from mageia appplet. No appears updates. Now in konsole as root, ejecute "urpmi --auto-updates", now appears updates. This issue appears all days to boot my pc. Mageia-applet don't show updates, but right after I open konsole with "urpmi --auto-update" and appears updates.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Check updates from mageia-applet. No appears nothing.
2. Check updates from konsole with "urpmi --auto-updates. Appears updates.
3. Update the pc from konsole.

Output of konsole ejecuting urpmi --auto-update

This file is the output of konsole right just after check updates from mageia-applet.

This is expected in cauldron.

Run "drakrpm-edit-media --expert" as root. Ensure the updates box for the
release media is selected.

mgaapplet only checks update repos, for updates due to the extra time it
takes to check release media, which after release do not change.

Don't forget to uncheck those boxes after Mageia 8 has been released.

Closing as invalid.
