is your system fully updated? meaning do you have kernel-5.10.9-1.mga8 or later installed ? is alsa-sof-firmware installed? Yes, I did an #urpmi --auto-update I have the latest 5.10.9 kernel Actually, I tried with a 5.9 kernel and it didn't change anything; As explained in my bug report, alsa-sof-firmware was NOT installed by default by the installer. By installing manually, it solved the issue. Would be great to have it installed by default with such hardware. If you do try a more recent installation, please report back (and always say from what source: net, ISO). You can still post to closed bugs; re-open if necessary.
