Well, with hugin-2020.0.0-5.mga8 I got a similar result, although it briefly started the GUI before crashing. Console O/P was the same, ending in:

ERROR: 21:50:35.554965 (/home/iurt/rpmbuild/BUILD/hugin-2020.0.0/src/hugin1/hugin/GLViewer.cpp:133) SetUpContext(): Error initialising GLEW: Unknown error.
munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer
Aborted (core dumped)

This package was updated on my box 2 Jan.

This SRPM has no fixed maintainer, so assigning this globally; CC'ing Jani who did recent updates.

I wouldn't count rebuilding pkg for lib major change in other pkg.

The same issue here in Mageia 8 Plasma x64. I do some things in photography and I can't create panoramic photos, because hugin doesn't works..
