jani.valimaa Normally it is fixed with nmapsi4-0.5-0.alpha2.2.mga8 which provide nmap-frontend: $ urpmq --provides nmapsi4 application() application(nmapsi4-admin.desktop) application(nmapsi4.desktop) nmap-frontend nmapsi4[== 0.5-0.alpha2.2.mga8] nmapsi4(x86-64)[== 0.5-0.alpha2.2.mga8] The nmapsi4 is still not auto selected/installed when upgrading. $ urpmf --urpmi-root /var/lib/machines/marte_cauldron -f -m --name nmapsi4 Core Release:nmapsi4-0.5-0.alpha2.2.mga8.x86_64 Core 32bit Release:nmapsi4-0.5-0.alpha2.2.mga8.i586 This caught me out too - NMAP GUI gets lost on a 7->8 upgrade. I agree with PC_LX that it would be better if the nmapsi4 package were automatically selected if nmap-frontend was installed on 7, particularly as this change is not mentioned in the release notes.
