New RPM package request @Marc It is not clear just what you are asking for. Please explain what you are doing. I can find no mention of 'megasync' in our packages. Are you asking for a new package called that? If so, please give some information about it, and an upstream/project URL in the field above. > the lib is obsolete: libssl.so.1.0.0 Is this a warning to us about it? It seems that we have actually: lib64openssl1.1:/usr/lib64/libssl.so.1.1 (although libssl.so.1.0.0 occurs in nvidia-nsight) And what has this to do with megasync ? > The rpm fedora is not compatible! Are you saying that you have installed (or tried to) Fedora's 'megasync' rpm, and it does not like libssl.so.1.0.0 - despite the fact of our more recent version in Cauldron/M8 ? CC:

lewyssmith Comment 0 is difficult to understand, but I believe he is saying that he has an old Fedora RPM, built against compat-openssl10 (which provides libssl.so.1.0.0) which no longer works on Mageia because we dropped the compat lib, and therefore is requesting that we package megasync. Note that Fedora has also dropped the compat lib, so a current Fedora megasync package, if one exists, should work. okay ! excuse me ! I installed megasync 4.3.1 (rhel) with libopenssl 1.1 and it is ok ! Thank you DavidW for your wisdom. (In reply to marc fanjoux from comment #3) > okay ! excuse me ! > I installed megasync 4.3.1 (rhel) with libopenssl 1.1 and it is ok ! Good. Thank you for this feedback. We can hence close the bug.
