See bug 2622 : there's a problem during upgrade because our python-numpy has a lower version than Mandriva 2010.2's from main/backports.

I don't know what the new version brings and if it's wise to have it in updates, but for smooth upgrades that would be good.

There are various tests available in the tutorial at numpy.org.

Tested existing version but it's not yet on my mirror.

The mirrors using distrib-coffee still aren't sync'd yet. I'll add linuxcabal to get it tested.

python-numpy tested Ok x86_64 & i586 using histograms.

Update validated.
