Description of problem:
This program allow user to backup and share certain folders of their workstations using any kind of storage, e.g. FTP, Amazon S3 or Google Storage. this program is only beta but in August/September will by out.

The package is in Mdv cooker now, but wasn't in Mdv before

Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.

Unfortunatly this program is in alpha status since 2014. 

Last News is:
"13 Jun 2016: The core team of Syncany is on hiatus for an indefinite amount of time. Feel free to do with the code what the license allows and encourages, but please don't expect any maintenance. We might pick up development again, or we might not."

Qoute from one of the devs in 2018:
"all the Syncany devs (just me and @pimotte really) have been working on their own day jobs for a while, so the project is pretty much de-facto dead unfortunately."
