there's an other kind of problem with an other Huawei dongle (not detected as a 3G modem).

I should have told you it did work great earlier in cauldron. Some update made it not work. Have no idea witch one.
It works great in Mageia1.

This issue does not exists any more. Don't know when it started to work because I haven't used cauldron for some time. Now I do and it seems to work as it should.
