but i seem it does not work last mga7 kernel here, i had to build realteck driver to have network working.

It should be available already in cauldron on i586 and x86_64 (CONFIG_R8169 is not enabled on arm, we should fix that), however it seems we forgot to update kernel-firmware package and still have 20200721.

We should also update kernel-firmware when updating kernel to 5.9 for Mageia 7 and it should fix this.

Actually kernel-firmware-nonfree, which is the relevant one here, was already updated to 20201022 so it should be fine already in Cauldron.

it's also coming to mga7 with

5.9.11-3.mga7 (or newer)

Sorry for my late comment here, but it seems last official kernel support this NIC in r8169 module without doing anything
