Description Christian Müller 2020-09-25 08:34:25 CEST
Description of problem:

Firefox 78.3 ESR from testing repo treats all https websites as unsafe.
Error message: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER
Comment 1 Christian Müller 2020-09-25 08:55:34 CEST
After installing rootcerts-20200911.00-1.mga7 from testing repo all is ok. Shouldn't there be a dependency then?
Comment 2 David Walser 2020-09-25 17:40:48 CEST
No. When the update is released, all relevant packages will be included with it and when users update their systems all of those packages will be updated. See Bug 26711 for the list. Make sure you are only installing packages from updates_testing that have been assigned to QA:

The princeton mirror has stopped syncing and it's admin has not yet responded.
That also affects all mirrors that sync from the princeton mirror.

The princeton mirror has the firefox update in updates testing, but not the
rest of the packages such as rootcerts.
