Quad Core: Intel Core i7-4790 type: MT MCP
NVIDIA GM204 [GeForce GTX 970] driver: nvidia v: 430.64

Installation and reboot - no issues.
Mate desktop running fine with nvidia 430.64.

glxspheres ~ 2970 frames/sec which is normal - no sync to VBlank.
teapot ~ 1800 fps.
The GIMP, video, gthumb OK.
