Description of problem: Firefox appears in english and I have installed with spanish language.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 8 Beta 1 Xfce X64, Firefox 78


How reproducible: Install Firefox 78 and spanish language.


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install firefox and spanish language
2. Ejecute
3. The language in menus and toolbars is in english

Thank you for reporting this. It looks a duplicate of bug 26934:
"In cauldron, with Friday, July 10th 2020 update to firefox-78esr,
Firefox UI is displayed in us-english even with firefox-fr-78.0.2-1.mga8 installed."

But note that goes back a month. Can you say whether your problem is that old? Or at least relates to the update to version 78.
 $ rpm -q --last firefox
will show when it was last updated.

Hi, 

In Mageia 7 xfce this bug no appears. In Mageia 8 Xfce appears in konsole:

[diego@localhost ~]$ rpm -q --last firefox
firefox-78.1.0-1.mga8.x86_64                    lun 10 ago 2020 18:55:12
[diego@localhost ~]$

It may be related to bug 26934.

In Mageia 7, Firefox is at firefox-68.10.0-1.1.mga7.
This problem appeared with Firefox 78 for Mageia 8.
