tarazed25 It looks like there is some undocumented trickery in updating radeon-firmware, as it now has files that conflict with kernel-firmware. Keywords:

fri i5-2500, 16GB RAM, integrated Intel video, wired Internet connection, 64-bit Plasma system. I don't believe any of the hardware on this system is supposed to be affected by this update, but I have used it for two days now anyway and haven't seen any regressions. CC:

andrewsfarm HP Probook 6550b, i3, integrated Intel video, Intel wifi, 64-bit Plasma system. No installation issues. This system does use the iwlwifi package, but the chip is older and I don't know if it's supposed to be affected by the changes. And indeed, I don't see any regressions, so it's OK on this hardware. Alienware X51 Kernel: 5.6.14-desktop-2.mga7 x86_64 Intel Core i7-2600 type: MT MCP Device-2: Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter driver: ath9k Firmware installed cleanly. Switched from ethernet to wifi. Rebooted OK, wifi up, NFS shares mounted.
