Thank you for raising this. Referring the bug in the first instance to the ISO builders. Martin, if you know a better destination, please re-assign it. Assignee:

isobuild Once the mageia-release package is updated to include the new release notes, they will be automatically included on the ISOs. The Mageia 8 release notes are still in early draft form, with a lot of text simply copied over from Mageia 7, so I'm inclined not to update the package yet, so that it's obvious it still needs to be done. We should make sure it's done before the RC ISOs are built. Setting this as a release blocker to make sure it isn't forgotten. There's no registered maintainer for the mageia-release package, so I guess assigning to the ISO builders is the best option. This is one of the many tasks tmb used to take care of for us. CC:

olav Hi, This is release_blocker for a reason. Making Mageia even better than ever is best direction. In order to do right thing, this bug should be examined and fixed as soon as possible. Packagers, please change the status to "Assigned" when you are working on this. We will make a decision on the relevance of the release_blocker tag on 1st October 2020 QA meeting. 8-beta1 ISOs have the early-draft Mageia 8 release notes. Status:
