marcello.anni with regards to this bug, but this is not just a "no icon", there is 2 different icons... and why is that? it's not like one thing is broken and another thing is working... which is what this is suggesting... Severity:

major I haven't dug through the code in detail, but skimming through /usr/lib/libDrakx/interactive.pm, I get the impression that the difference in icon reflects whether or not there is a separate configuration wizard, that requires an X server, which harddrake2 will have to spawn/wait for. It doesn't appear to be related to broken/working, like in the windows device manager. CC:

davidwhodgins well, i haven't used windows in 8 years, so i can't account for that, but if there are 2 different icons next to hardware, and the one looks like an X, i assume it's because it's broken. perhaps something more obvious could be chosen: a small dot for something normal and a green arrow pointing east for one which has a separate configuration. or you could use the same arrow and gray it out or something. still beta 2 Temporary design, waiting for final icons CC:

*** Bug 1293 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** in #1293 there is an image of other artwork, in MCC in the title bar there are still some missing icons (eg: deviceinfo, ...) Please write "bug #XXXX" instead of "#XXXX" next time so that bugzilla autogenerates a link Btw it's a different issue Closing. Missing icons in harddrake are fixed. The other issue is bad artwork for banners in drakxtools. Different issue, different package. Please do not mix issues Status:
