Which dekstop?  - Plasma?

There is no loudspeaker icon in system tray?

And you do not hear the Mageia startup sound at loggin in?

The description you gave in comment 0 is, as Morgan said in comment 1, far from sufficient. Please describe what you are doing, what you mean by:
1.no icon sound
2.no sound
If it would help, write in your native language.
