Description of problem:
We are missing a snapshotting graphical interface.
We do have the command line utility snapper for btrfs, LVM 
  (and ext4 - experimental still?)

There are two to choose from

Sorry to have left this, Morgan. Too busy, no time.

Can you nominate which of the two you prefer? We should not take on two applications in such a specialised area (which is why I refrain from suggesting a 'new pkg' bug for each one).

Both need more than packaging to reach automation, but i think any will do to add a working GUI to help fully manual tasks.  Needs to be tested though.

In that regard i think snapper-gui would suit us best.

Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.
