After a live upgrade (before rebooting into the new installation) Drakconf flashes up and disappears when started from the command line. These errors were stated:

"/usr/sbin/drakbackup" is not executable [Backups] at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 822.
"/usr/sbin/drakvirt" is not executable [Virtualization] at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 822.
"/usr/sbin/tomoyo-gui" is not executable [Tomoyo Policy] at /usr/sbin/drakconf.real line 822.
/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libwebkitgtk-1.0.so.0: undefined symbol: soup_requester_get_type

You chose "cauldron" as your Mageia version. Are you sure you upgraded from MDV 2010.1 to Mageia Cauldron?

I guess you used a Live CD to upgrade to Mageia 1, is that correct? If so, which one did you use?

I honestly don't think drakconf is supposed to work after install and before reboot.

Does drakconf still disappear when you start it now?
