Hello Bill, Mageia 8 here we go! Thanks for reporting this. Assigning to Stig who maintains this. 'pygtk2' looks iffy; I thought we were dropping all Gtk2 stuff. Assignee:

smelror Thanks for the report. I've pushed an update to both core and tainted with a snapshot from today. I don't have pygtk2 installed on my system and Kodi is running fine. That means that it's no longer a requirement. Removed it from the build and the snapshot 19.0-git20200605 should install fine. On a sidenote, not many addons has been ported to Kodi Matrix yet, so usability will be a bit limited. Core functionality works fine. Cheers, Stig Thanks all for working on Kodi. It's an important app and is used in a bazillion places besides just Mageia. It's code, as I understand, is at the core of most Smart TV's. I use it both on Mageia and on my Raspberry Pi. Installs without issue today It even runs in a M8 Plasma Vbox Client. That's pretty amazing
