Jani, can you please comment on this. I wonder whether this has the same underlying reason (Gtk2) as the bug about Orage.

It's not removed or missing.

I owe you apologies, I see now how I could have found out for myself at least that the SRPM 'elementary-xfce' exists in Cauldron.
