New main version of DAW Ardour was released on May 2020. Internally there have been huge engineering changes. 6.0 is a more reliable and usable program than any previous version of the program.

I have cited the current M7 SRPM, but do not see any sign that Cauldron is more up-to-date. It should be for Mageia 8.

This has no regular maintainer, so assigning it globally. CC'ing the registered maintainer PeterS in case he is still with us.

This bug must be closed, we are in Mageia 9 with version 7.3 in the repositories.

Please close this bug. We are now at 7.5 in Mageia and the most recent version of Ardour is 8.2 as of 13. December 2023.
