I'm not sure if it's the same problem, but now after kernel 5.6.7-2 and 5.6.7-3, /boot/grub2/grub.cfg no longer contains the mageia kernels menus/menu items. Editing it manually based on an old version of grub.cfg allows it to boot. CC:
