did you had some tetex packages before on your machine ? CC:

dmorganec if you have not installed texlive, can you try rpm -qa | grep tetex jepp you are right, I had installed tetex - seems to be a requirement of docbook which is a requirement of some devel packages. So this is indeed not a bug. Thanks for clearing things up! Status:

Installed packages
Well I just updated this evening and got 300MB + of texlive stuff that I don't think I want.
I don't have tetex installed (I have no idea what it is for)
Attached is output of rpm -qa | grep -E "tetex|texlive|devel" | sort
