Description Grigory Maksaev 2011-09-06 22:39:56 CEST
Description of problem:
If installed as "urpmi -wordnet", it is OK and is not in orphans list. But if installed via MCC, it is considered orphaned. In both cases the installed program works well.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Go to MCC.
2. Select Wordnet for 64bit architecture and install it.
3. Run urpme --auto-orphans as root.
4. Find the wordnet package in the orphans list.

5. If you uninstall it and run "urpmi -wordnet" as root, the package is installed, but not placed into orphans list.

I can not reproduce here. (And that is normal that I can not)

the orphans list are the packages installed for satisfy an dependence of an other package, which was remove

(something like that, sorry for my bad english :) )

Tried that too, can' reproduce. Installed wordnet with rpmdrake, it pulls in lib64wordnet as a dependency. As wordnet was directly installed, it is not in orphans list, so urpme --auto-orphans does not remove it.
Closing as invalid.
