kernel what exact hw is that ? there is not that much patches between 5.5.14-1 and 5.5.15-3 CC:

tmb And you can still use the older 5.5.14 kernel for now Yes the 5.5.14 still works as installed. The machine also have Bug 26338 - Intermittent failure early in boot, Intel Q9100, foor all kernels i have tried (got the machine recently) I will grab lspci from it. Anything else that may help? CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 9100 2,26GHz Family 6, Model 23, Stepping 10, Cpuid 13 OK again with kernel 5.6.6 :) Maybe luck, but closing for now. Status:
