Mageia is lacking a powerful equalizer plugin to make working with DAWs like ardour more effective.

While there is builtin parametric eq, there's none with a proper visualization.

As equalizers and compressors are two of the most important tools for audio work, it would be nice if a package containing the eq10q plugins was added to Mageia.

eq10q is mature/feature complete, so maintenance should be minimal (no need to hunt for new releases constantly).

Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might, if there are no license or other legal issues, want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes.
