Description Zombie Ryushu 2020-03-28 03:24:59 CET
I recently have been having issues with grub2 on a laptop with i915 Graphics. The graphics appear to have an unusual color depth similar to old EGA, The menu selections are stiff and unresponsive.

The Hardware is a Toshiba C55-B5100 Laptop. It supports some strange resolutions like 1366x768.

Ubuntu seems to function normally, this is because Ubuntu uses grub 0.97 in CSM Mode. This is one of the units with a faulty UEFI BIOS where Booting in UEFI mode can brick the motherboard.
