Hello, You got only error with updates repo right ? If so I guess this a noissue as these repo are not used in cauldron see: https://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/linux/mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/media/core/updates/repodata/ versus: https://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/linux/mageia/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/media/core/release/repodata/ but maybe we can still add something CC:

This is clearly not true, because every new installation (from an ISO = out-of-the-box) can be updated during the installation|after first boot, or subsequently. For example, I have just installed the first M8 pre-release, accepted its offer to set up the on-line repos, and later updated it without any fiddling at all.
OTOH Cauldron installations may be a different case.
