Description eric gerbier 2020-02-20 20:41:15 CET
Description of problem:
I have the following error message in journalctl :
févr. 20 19:50:06 localhost systemd-udevd[2170]: Specified user 'tss' unknown
févr. 20 19:50:06 localhost systemd-udevd[2170]: Specified group 'tss' unknown

it seems to come from /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/60-tpm-udev.rules file, from tmp2-tss rpm package.
but the tss user is not created an rpm pre/post install

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
tpm2-tss-2.2.2-1

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. urpmi tpm2-tss
2. reboot
3. journalctl -b | grep tss

Thank you for reporting this problem.
Useful to know, please: does the package work despite the errors, or not?

For info to others:
tpm2-tss is a software stack supporting Trusted Platform Module(TPM) 2.0 system
APIs. It sits between TPM driver and applications, providing TPM2.0 specified
APIs for applications to access TPM module through kernel TPM drivers.

Assigning to DavidG as both registered & actual maintainer of this package.
