Thank you for reporting this. For Mageia 7, all looks ? correct: wxmaxima-19.03.1-1.mga7 $ urpmq --requires wxmaxima maxima maxima-5.42.0-1.mga7 $ urpmq --requires maxima maxima-runtime-sbcl[== 5.42.0-1.mga7] maxima-runtime-sbcl-5.42.0-1.mga7 $ urpmq --requires maxima-runtime-sbcl maxima[== 5.42.0-1.mga7] sbcl[== 1.4.12-3.mga7] sbcl-1.4.12-3.mga7 Is it normal to have circular dependencies? Here: - maxima requires maxima-runtime-sbcl - maxima-runtime-sbcl requires maxima I cannot do this for Cauldron. BTAIM this looks a question of adjusting the Cauldron/mga8 dependencies, currently for mga7 pkgs. There is mixed ownership of the SRPMs, so assigning this globally; CC'ing people who have committed the [wx]maxima things most recently. Assignee:

pkg-bugs Now, it's works.
But I have this message :
Message from maxima's stderr stream: WARNING: Maxima is unable to set up the help system.
(Details: CL-INFO::LOAD-PRIMARY-INDEX: Couldn't load
"/usr/share/info/./maxima-index.lisp":
file does not exist.)
Which version-release of maxima have you installed? Seems wally fixed something in maxima-5.43.2-5.mga8 maxima : 5.43.2-4.mga8 maxima-runtime-sbcl : 5.43.2-4.mga8 wxmaxima : 20.01.3-2.mga8 I have do my work this morning with maxima with my computer in Cauldron. The next time, I have use the wife's computer with mageia 7. So try with the next "-5.mga8" Thank's... It's all good now. So closing of this bug! Resolution:
