I have zero experience in using strace, and reading the man page was an easy way to get completely lost. So, I looked up some examples on the web, and tried them on my machine with kernel 5.4.2 before updating. Then, deciding to give it some exercise, I ran "strace dolphin. Then I tried "strace kpat" and set kpat to running a demo game.
In each case, I saw thousands of lines of incomprehensible (to me) information. But, it didn't crash, and seemed to exit normally each time.

Then I got the update, and ran the same tests again. Again it didn't crash, and again it seemed to exit normally.

That's as far as I can take it. I'm going to give it a tentative 64-bit OK. If anyone knows of a more definitive test, please let me know.

Installed and tested without issues.

Tested with the kernel 5.4.2 still in the updates testing repository.
Tested by tracing the execution of various x86_64 and x86 binaries before and after the strace package update and diffing the traces. The outputs look as expected, no noticeable regressions.

System: Mageia 7, x86_64, Intel CPU.
