This is not actually true. Thinking it might be desktop related, I tied it under all 6 (Cinnamon, Gnome, LXDE, Mate, Plasma, Xfce). What happens is that when you click the Files expand triangle, it greys. If you then simply *wait* a few seconds, the files list appears & can be scrolled. This is because it literally takes time to produce. Try the equivalent command to see: $ urpmq -l <packagename> So the idea that the triangle needs clicking twice - or more, even - is illusory, simply because the files list does not appear instantly. INVALID Thanks Lewis, The effect I was seeing was after the files list had appeared. I wanted to see the files lower down the list that were off the screen and I tried for quite a while to move down the list with the mouse scroll wheel and with cursor keys to no avail, there seemed to be no way to see further down the list. I then clicked the expand triangle again, after which the scroll wheel worked as expected. It's not something I use often so I thought maybe it was a minor bug that had been overlooked and reported it. I am not in Mga7 just now, but I will check again (in cauldron as well) later. Barry OK after testing again this morning on both Mga7 and Cauldron after a reboot I cannot reproduce this. I did reproduce it many times last night before reporting, so either it was a gremlin or fixed by updates that I did later. So closing and sorry for adding to your work in testing. Barry Closing WFM now. Resolution:

WORKSFORME Barry I am sorry I misunderstood your exact original complaint. (In all truth, I have vague memories of the same problem in the past - without discovering that a second click on the triangle did the trick!). Thank you for persuing it & closing the bug appropriately. |
