Description of problem:

I installed Libreoffice 6.3.2 from libreoffice.org and it doesn't run from the menus.. I tried konsole and it only runs as root..

Is there something I need to do that you guys know?.. old versions used to work with Mageia 6.1.

Mageia's current LibreOffice is at 6.2.3.2. You are trying to run a more recent version not from a Mageia repository, so we do not support it, and this bug is not valid.
