Can't reproduce here on my mga7 for x86_64. CC:

geiger.david68210 Neither can I, x64, Mate. kdenlive-19.04.0-1.mga7 Fire it up, click File-Save_as pops a file selection window, preset to $HOME/Videos. This is a bit like bug 25042. @José : can you at least say what desktop you are using? And theme. And if possible, try with others. Also, is it possible that the file selection window is opened *under* the main one, and hence hidden? CC:

Sorry, I have rebooted the system this night, and now it works as expected. I should have done it before reporting the bug. It is a simple Live Plasma 64-MGA6 upgraded with CLI to MGA7, with no theme change. Looks like this can happen with Plasma... Resolution:
