Description of problem: The game dreachess (a chess game): the game does not keep the parameters in memory, everything resets to zero as soon as the game is restarted, I play with the sound off and a display mode and as soon as I turn the game off and reset all the settings are lost.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start the game
2.put your favorite settings: screen resolution, sound volume etc....
3.restart, and your settings are lost
I have already played this game under ubuntu, fedora and windows and the settings are saved at startup but not on mageia.

you must turn off the game and restart it, and the settings will be lost.

Mageia 7 is EOL since July 1st 2021.
There will not have any further bugfix for this release.

You are encouraged to upgrade to Mageia 8 as soon as possible.

@reporter, if this bug still apply with Mageia 8, please let us know it.

@packager, if you work on the Mageia 7 version of your package, please check the Mageia 8 package if issue is also present. In this case, please fix the Mageia 8 version instead.

This bug report will be closed OLD if there is no further notice within 1st September 2021.

Seems fixed to me as of dreamchess-0.3.0-3.mga8 (tested in Cauldron, but it's the same package as in Mageia 8 so I'm fairly confident it should be fine in Mageia 8 too).
