Summary:
Disparition du bouton Veille prolongée =>
Hibernate button has disappeared After the Lock/Logout widget component is installed (in the systray I suppose), it is possible to make the Hibernate button visible. But this button disappears after the computer is shut down, and then it is impossible to make it visible again. I can't reproduce this bug, but maybe Pierre can tell us more about how he got into this situation so we can try to reproduce the issue. --- I add to Sébastien: A little about your hardware - computer, graphics. Which ISO did you install? If not one of the specific Lives, what desktop? The exact Lock/Logout package you installed. CC:

marja11 I thank you all for your answers. I guess this is a software bug in the widget because, from the Mageia main menu, the Hibernate button is available and efficient. At least, one other Mageia user has the same problem. If some of you can’t reproduce the bug, this does not mean that the bug does not exist ... !! I set up my desktop PC with : - Z170-A motherboard from Asus + 16 GB RAM. - a 128 GB SSD for / and /home partitions. - a 3 TB hard disk for data. - a few days ago, I installed Mageia 7.1 from a USB stick with the KDE Plasma desktop; I used the ISO file available today from Mageia. - in French, the package involved is named “Verrouillage / Déconnexion”, it is automatically installed when installing Mageia. Hello,
In a VM with Mageia 7 ( not used a media Live,etc... as installed from beta version and upgraded with updates), to reproduce i make this:
In the lock_logout plasmoid (i suppose this is this one) which appears at the bottom right of the screen.
In the plasmoid configuration option, i tick the hibernate ("veille prolongée") to make appears the hibernate button.
Then i add another plasmoid of the same type and do the same to enable the hibernate button.
Then disconnect from the Plasma session and reconnect.
Then the hibernate button has dissapear from both plasmoid, but when going the configuration of both plasmoid, the hibernate option ( even if ticked) is grayed out ( so nothing can be done).
After removed one of the plasmoid, the option is still grayed out.
But after another logout and connexion, the button reappears again and the option is available again.
Hope this help ( i' m not using the hibernate/suspend function).CC:

joe_c_moi Bonjour Nicolas, I thank you for these tests. Yes, the problem is with the plasmoid available at bottom right of the display, it installed with Magaia 7.1. For me, even after logout, the Hibernate button never becomes available again. To get it available again, I must uninstall the plasmoid, reinstall it and reconfigure it. Which other plasmoid makes possible the display of a Hibernate button ? (I never found another one) Pierre

kde Bonjour, Now I use the plasmoid available at bottom right of the display, installed with Magaia 7.1: it is OK. I use it with none of the options available to display the five buttons: Suspend / Hibernate / Restart / Off / Disconnect, labels I translated (??) from French. Pierre Thank you. Setting as fixed then. Resolution:
